Who we are?

Introduction

We are a Saturday School delivering quality Islamic Education to the children of Basingstoke and surrounding areas. We are situated at Cranbourne School on Saturday mornings from 10:45am to 3:00pm.

We cater for children of ages 5 to 13 years old. Have a look at our WHAT WE TEACH page for further details of what we offer.

School's History

The school has evolved over the years as a small group in a house and then as Jannah Club in the Basingstoke Albirr Mosque which was run by a group of volunteers together with the Imam. Due to lack of space, lack of proper resources and quality of education, we made a decision to take the school outside the mosque building. The school is now based inside a school building and is governed by well organised management committee with community involvement. Improving and maintaining the quality of education is one of the main goals.

Apart from formal lessons the School also organises extra curricular and sports activities regularly in which community involvement is encouraged.

We also now support Muslim Scout Group which runs at Cranbourne School straight after our school from 3pm till 4pm. Please visit the site for further information regarding upcoming exciting activities and events that children love.
