Who we are?

Introduction

We are a Saturday School delivering quality Islamic Education to the children of Basingstoke and surrounding areas. Our aim is to share the responsibility of parents to teach children about Islamic knowledge, values and traditions. This is

On Saturdays we hire some rooms at Cranbourne School from 10:45am to 3:00pm and hold classes for Islamic Studies, Arabic and Hifz.

We cater for children of ages 5 to 13 years old. Have a look at our WHAT WE TEACH page for further details of what we offer.

School's History

The school has evolved over the years as a small group in a house (2002 - 2004) and then as Jannah Club in the Basingstoke Albirr Mosque (2005 - 2009) which was run by a group of volunteers together with the Imam. Due to increasing students, lack of space and proper resources in the mosque, we made a decision to take the school outside the mosque building to achieve higher standards of education.

The school is now based inside a school building and is governed by well organised management committee with community involvement. Improving and maintaining the quality of education is one of the main goals.

Apart from formal lessons the School also organises extra curricular and sports activities regularly in which community involvement is encouraged.
