BSIS - Basingstoke Supplementary Islamic School - is a Saturday school for delivering quality Islamic Education to the Muslim children of Basingstoke. It is currently organised in the building of Cranbourne School on Saturday mornings from 10:45am to 3pm. It caters for children of ages 5 to 13 by grouping them into 4 class levels according to age and ability. Each class is taught a pre-selected course by qualified/experienced teachers. Class level 1 and 2 also have teaching assistants to help in the classes.

The school has evolved over the years as a small group in a house and then as Jannah Club in the Basingstoke Albirr Mosque which was run by a group of volunteers together with the Imam. Due to issues related to space, lack of proper resources and quality of education, it was realised to take the school outside the mosque building. The new school is now based inside a proper school building and is governed by well organised management committee with community involvement. Improving and maintaining the quality of education is one of the main goals.

Apart from formal lessons the School also organises extra curricular and sports activities regularly in which community involvement is encouraged.
